A Change is Coming

The winds are still gusting over 30 MPH, temperatures are in the mid-40's and below freezing at night. March is not leaving "like a lamb". The propane guy just came by to fill our tank, slightly less then last year. I opened the valves for the out door hose bibs. The bulbs my Mom planted are up to about 5" and the new trees out front have some red buds on them. I hired a lawn company to apply chemicals and they put down pre-emergent last week to prevent new weeds from growing. We had a hail storm last night due to some thunderstorms embedded in a fast moving cold front. The local farmers have been very busy and the pungent aroma of their hard work is everywhere.

It is not Spring yet, but somehow (maybe just wishful thinking) I feel that it is getting close.
