I haven't been able to report real progress since day 13. Yesterday I went out to the site to find one small pallet of wood, steel still laying in the driveway and no activity at all. I was disappointed.
I went today after work to find the first floor exterior walls up, much of the internal walls stubbed in and best of all, lots of men with hammers and nail guns putting things together. Prefabbed walls were on one pile, trusses on another and a mechanical monster was busy moving and placing structures so that the men could fasten them in place. Mark (the newly assigned PM) told me to expect work to continue through the weekend.
We met our new neighbor. Number 18 moved in last week. Congratulations!
