Lots of family and lots of wonderful food made for a great Christmas Season. It seemed like we had visitors every day and somehow my wife was prepared to entertain each time. This was really the first time we had used this house to receive guests this way and we were concerned about seating arrangements, food prep and table space, etc. It all worked out just fine.
The other concern was/is the limited number of bedrooms. Used to having three with a spare, we were forced to impress the living room sofa into service. I can tell you from my own experience watching late night television (with my eyes closed) that the sofa does a fair job simulating a bed. We also used the inflatable, which got some good reviews. Next resource in line was the camping hammock stored somewhere in the basement, but fortunately it never came to that.
