Pay for the Delivery

"The Dump" told us that our furniture had arrived. We took both vehicles over to pack them up and were amazed by the amount of boxes. Fortunately the store had a great Load Master. Lots of rope and a cleaver way to to cinch them tight eased my fears about taking the packed truck home along the back roads of Pennsylvania. Two trips were required.

Unpacking the truck was another matter. Most of the boxes weren't overly heavy but were bulky. Both of us struggled to get the boxes out without dropping them on the concrete floor. Then the real fun started. The pieces were protected with cardboard, Styrofoam, plastic wrap and miles of packing tape. The dunnage was amazing. The garage is full of the stuff.

I plan to spend the day setting the stuff up. No small task considering all of the connections necessary for the stereo and video equipment. Then loading all of the tapes, records and CDs into the new cabinetry. "Can you imagine this place without boxes?"
