Odd Jobs
We took a little time away from rearranging our boxes of stuff in the basement. Saturday was spent doing the shopping runs to the 'home improvement centers', picking up supplies and planning for new projects. Curtains were pressed and hung in bedroom #2. Super Sunday the girls went to play bingo at church leaving me to hang a wire shelf in the laundry room, replace the washer hoses with the metal braided leak sensitive variety, and install a desk light for my Mother-in-Law. Her son installed a computer for her (which she swears not to use) and it was nice that he could just attach the Ethernet cable to the wall for internet access. The real bright spot of the week was the work done in bedroom #1. My wife went through all of the clothing boxes and repacked and reorganized the closet. Wow! I can see the carpet on the floor again. There is potential for a desk, dresser or other bedroom furniture now. Slow but steady progress.
