A puzzle

We were over stocked with just too many boxes and tubs to effectively unpack. I decided to carve out a space to put all of the Christmas decorations together but couldn't find the place to do it. My wife suggested putting the boxes of unpacked stuff in the rooms where they would eventually reside, and while that meant going back to the brown cardboard decor it appeared to be the only answer to our dilemma.

One of the obstacles to my "Christmas space" was the Hope Chest. We unpacked that to lift it upstairs to bedroom #1 and I did some minor repairs before setting it in place at the foot of the bed. (It was real nice to have my clamps available.) The rest of the weekend was spent shifting heavy tubs into the newly acquired space, finding boxes previously inaccessible and sorting those to the appropriate location. This required lots of heavy lifting. We all found lost treasures which provided some small amount of motivation to continue. This is hard work, but so much better then what was done to pack the boxes in the first place.

One thing is crystal clear. We need cabinetry. It won't be too long until the power tools are humming and sawdust is flying. The only question is where to start. Quite a puzzle.
